Jack Conte is a working musician who has had quite a bit of success via YouTube with his Video songs which have a couple of rules: 1. What you see is what you hear. (No lip-syncing for voice or instruments), 2. If you hear it, at some point you see it (meaning that there are no hidden sounds). He is also part of the California Indie Duo Pomplamoose with Nataly Dawn.  They, too, make videosongs of their originals as well as quite a few renditions of some other peoples songs, including Beyonce’s Single Ladies, Michael Jackson’s Beat It, and many more. You’ve heard their music in commercials for Toyota and Hyundai.  Josh Almond interviews Jack about his music, videos, on working with others, and how this is a great time to be a musician in the age of the Internet.
